Auto A/C hose assemblies usually include long sections of tube that are routed to fit around other obstacles under the hood. The problem is that in most cases, it’s just the hose that is leaking… and there is no reason to have to replace the entire hose assembly.

One of the most common areas for auto A/C systems to leak is at the rubber hose section, and usually right at the crimp. Why? Because crimping the hose can cause the internal hose braid to be crushed or broken to the point where it will not withstand the pressures for long periods of time.
